Very affordable, good drinks. Bartender seemed to be making some people uncomfortable
This is where the locals go! Prices are much cheaper than the old town and the food is even better! Great selection of local wines, plenty of pintxos to choose from as well as main dishes. We had beef cheek bocadillo, calamari, croquettes and duck magre. The staff are super helpful. I’d suggest making a reservation if you want to sit on a table it gets super busy!
Fantastic food. Low prices. Nice buzz all the time for to many people in and out.
A fun small bar/resto with attentive, knowledgeable staff and a great loud intimate atmosphere with laughter all around. Go on Thursday nights and you may see young crowds having a caña ( small beer), sitting right on the sidewalk. Good food at amazingly low prices.
Our last restaurant in San Sebastián. We ended with the best for last. The menu del dia is fantastic. Started with the vegetarian lasagna and had the veal and pork. Incredible wow!!! Dont miss out with FOMO with this wonderful authentic spot! 5 stars and our favorite menu del dia in san sebastian
This is a local bar with a small seating area for dinners. It was recommended by our hotel. You do have to book if you want a table and the day before is sufficient. The interior is dated and mainly wood and looking tired. Our table was a bit wobbly and when we got there at 7.30 the restaurant was empty. By 8 pm, it was suddenly packed out. It was mainly full of older gentlemen who seemed to know each other and the staff. It all added to the atmosphere, and we did not feel out of place. You felt as though you were at some family gathering. There were 4 of us and we ordered two salads and 4 main course meals which we decided to share. The foid was presented with flair, and the portions were generous. As with most of our experiences in San Sebastian, you should never judge a book by its cover. Everything was tasty and fresh. The quality of the dishes would not be out of place in a fine dining restaurant in London, but the price was exceptionally good value. It averaged at €17 each. It was a great place to visit for a no fuss relaxed evening meal.
